logged on for an hour to play an under leveled half naked rogue only to end up rolling in the YT, much more satisfying then the time we took Trak while Nihilum stood and watched last week.

So you won PVP after Nihilum already killed the dragon and won PVE.

Moral victory is really keeping Azrael on top!
We reorganized in EJ to avoid a 17 v 28 and cleared back in once we brought in about equal numbers.

When Trak spawned there were 2-4 mobs total between the 2 groups. Nihilum engaged Trak as we cleared the last Reet just short of the bridge and, with over 30 epic'd and geared players, killed the dragon in about 40 seconds.

At any point Nihilum could have engaged on the bridge area for a straight up ~30v30 before taking the dragon. The PvP was right there, both groups had targets on the other way before there was any dragon agro. We were in the zone clearing for nearly 20 mins before Trak ever spawned.

Brag all you want about being geared enough to down the dragon in under a minute, but the only reason you made that pull was to get out of PvP. You had the option to PvP clean for it and go for a PvP and PvE win, or rush the PvE and guaranteed lose the PvP. Nihilum *accepted* the PvP loss before a single point of damage was inflicted.

What makes it even more funny is that, for Nihilum, the mob is trivial and most of the loot table is alt junk. All ~30 of you made the decision to ditch out on train free PvP(20+ mins til any respawn) for nothing more than some more ac and stats on someone's level 12 alt. But if you are more comfortable making excuses for your own hesitance and exaggerating how challenging content that has been on farm status for 6+ months is, than actually PvPing when the opportunities present themselves... Well, to each their own.

I don't know, I don't need dragon BP's so myself - Lite, Powered, basically most of the people don't need BP's.

Trak teeth are pointless yet, and I still have 2 in my banks that no one needs for keys so that whole VP thing is a silly argument, considering we have several teeth waiting to be MQ'd.

Keep telling yourselves that was a victory, I'll take that loss anyday.
The fact you consider trak teeth pointless is why nihilum will always be top dog on this server, and other guilds with that attitude will always hemorrhage players to nihilum. People play to progress their characters, which means obtaining shiny new pixels. As long as you show utter disdain for the number one reason that the vast majority of people play MMO's (even so called pvp MMO's where pvp prowess brings titles / loot accolades) and games in general (gamer badges / rankings etc.,) you will never succeed in "griefing" nihilum off the server. This will be even more true in velious. If you doubt this take a look at how many people are playing the crushbone box at the moment.

It's funny because you yourself recognize this when you accuse nihilum of hurting the box by monopolizing pve content, showing you understand that pve progression is important to people and server health, but yet here claim that pve progression is meaningless. Well if pve progression is meaningless then I guess you no longer subscribe to the views that nihilum is bad for the server and that we need variance? While there's a few people who legitimately don't care about pve such as cwall, their number is small and inconsequential. Your post is exactly why this server need fresh blood from blue who get what a MMO is all about, in order to create true long lasting competition.

Flame away immersion levels currently in league of legends and a new side project I got going on irl.

I had to go about 45 minutes prior, as did quite a few others. I had bottomed out at scowl faction with wife and was about to just type /exit at that point. Real life happens dawg ain't even mad, in fact it's kinda funny plays to the heel persona I got here well.

Nah, nah, nah. I was watching you for 15 minutes prior to trak engage. Everything was cleared well before we engaged. We gave you every chance to attack us, but you bitched out so we went ahead and killed the dragon. You guys were scared as fuck to engage us without 30% higher numbers, so instead of going backwards and risk training repops or getting trained, we killed the dragon's whose lair we were already in.

Nihilum tends to view success from a PvE paradigm, with the point of PvP is to win the mob / loot. They got the trak kill, loot, helped block others from VP, and got several PvP kills. This incident was a win to them, their spoils is the loot.

So both sides are gong to spin this as a win.
Nah, nah, nah. Must be new here. If we win pvp, they always somehow spin it as they won regardless of the outcome. If we win pve, they spin it as a win. If we win both pvp and pve, they spin it as a win by justifying it with our better gear/numbers/levels etc etc etc etc etc etc etc. excuses excuses

It's clear as day Ender, last night was so much more rewarding then the night we took Trak while Nihilum sat in zone watching, I honestly don't think I could of logged on to do that again, never mind for a year straight, and more.

Last night worked out well for you guys too, you got murdered in PVP but at least you slayed the dragon.
