Respectfully disagree, my good sir. Although you are technically correct in that the pixels won't disappear, I'm saying that the pixels will be so devalued by the merge that it's close to the same thing.
Since you're responding to a post in which I proposed a 2-year independent teams server run with the phrase "long term," I'm going to extrapolate that the staff intends to run three servers for a shorter period. I'm guessing maybe a 12-18 month run? Sounds fun. Supreme has already stated they will use it as an opportunity to farm manastones.
I'll use it for one last run before retirement. A teams server might sustain a 200+ average daily population for 12 months but the day it's merged with the current dirty pixels, it's going to be rat poison all over again. Not complaining, just saying. Rogean's going to rez all those hamsters he killed then kill them again.
