I dont think you actually read my other post, so ill say it again. after playing tons of other mmo where you can do whatever you want why would the thought even cross your mind that there would be rules to read? i was 15 when i stopped playing the first time and at the time the only things i even considered as rules were just common game courtesy (dont ks, be friendly etc etc). the thought had never crossed my mind that i could buy pp because i wouldnt have had the money to anyway. 9 years (and tons of mmo's) later, i didnt have the slightest idea that i would need to come read some rules. is it really too much to ask for one warning? if you say something to someone and they do it again then yeah, ban them. they were aware that there were rules because you told them and they knew better

brother loaded up p99 and im playing on his laptop. he set up my account while i was at work because i work 75+ hrs a week and only have weekends off. second, he plays a monk. how is he supposed to get me armor when he doesnt have money for his own, and i was going to buy him some plat when i got my check in this week BECAUSE I DIDNT KNOW IT WAS ILLEGAL.

You kind of have to be way out of the mmo loop to not know about "plat farming" in general: vast armies of Chinese toddlers killing spiders or orcs for great justice, and the profit of the internet cafes that siphons that plat to be disbursed at dozens of websites for $$.

On the progression server from a couple years ago, entire guilds were nothing but legions -- legions I say -- of macro'd autobots slaughtering entire zones, rinsing and repeating at repop.

I watched the movie 300 and when they depicted the hordes of the Persians, I was like, yeah, plat farmers.

But I jest. But seriously, you have to be out of the loop on mmo's to not know plat farming and selling is shady and NOT COOL MAN.

I know, I get it. SOE sells you special unicorn helms for $5 US. I get that. But saying you thought plat farmers were the same deal is just kind of evidence you are not that bright. Just sayin.

Re-roll. It's what a plat farmer would do, are you gonna let a plat farmer out e-peen you?

Just re-roll. It's fun. It's p99. First 10 levels are a game unto itself anyway. Serious. Slow down, have fun, make friends, post flames. That's what I do.

i just want my account back. believe it or not i did put a lot of work into getting where i was and it had nothing to do with the plat i bought. i did reroll a new character. and i had no intention of cheating the first time. i just wasnt aware that i couldnt do that because i wasnt aware there was an mmo out there that you couldnt buy money.
