The average person on here does not have the time or the knowledge to loot high end content. Unless you are in a high end guild raiding a lot for DKP you are not going to get these items. So MQ is probably the only way you may get them.

Since when was life about getting what you deserve? The reality is that in EQ if you have deep pockets you can get your hands on just about any item in game. It was like this on live too, just not as obvious with the shorter time line.

Making platinum IS playing the game. So is putting in the (perhaps ridiculous) amount of effort required to get a drop/epic/whatever directly. It sounds like you aren't willing to do either of those things though. It sounds like you're part of Generation Entitlement.
