Please remember all of these UI files require the eqchanges zip from the offical forum post to make the icons appear in the correct places.

Savok, those new icons look pretty simple and sharp. I will try them out when I get home tonight!

Clear instructions:

1. Go to your Everquest\uifiles folder and rename the default to say oldbackup.

2. Download the FIRST zip file depending on which style you want (filigree/fancy or default_old. Make a folder in evequest\uifiles\ called default and unzip this file into that folder.

3. Download the SECOND uichanges zip file and unzip into the same new Everquest\uifiles\default folder and overwrite all files.

4. Load Everquest.

------

If you wish to use the Velious UI, after doing the above make a folder called Everquest\uifiles\velious and unzip the velious Ui into that folder. In game type /loadskin velious to lodd the velious UI. This keeps your default UI and allows you to choose if you want to use either type.

hmm... yeah. i'm not overly fond of the new spellgems either, and they've spawned a host of new compatibility issues for me. thus far, no old UI will work without problems/crashing.

That said; aside from the spell gems, I think it's pretty =\.

I can only get one hotbar (vertical) to open with the new/old style ui elements.

Any ideas on how to get a second open, or is that not even possible?

Default Titanium UI

I am using whatever the ui was with titanium..I have a couple of custom ui pieces not related to gems or spell icons... do I need to do anything here? I would like to have the spell icons and gems that had purple background for group port spells and yellow for single port spells and so on...I don't want to change my entire ui though.. is there a way to have these newer gems/icons I mentioned without changing the whole ui?

The second version does that for you.

Great job Sarvok! The new icons are very clear in the game, the colors are great too. Also I am able to use all 4 of my 1x10 hotkey bars.
Instructions are also perfect!
