Boon of the Garou, Improved Invisibility, Improved ITU, WL Port, and a few others have been gathered off crystalline wurms. I can't speak on the regular shardwurms, but I know that the above spells drop off the crystallines.
MOB DROP SPELLS, By Wanadan (5/23/2001)

I have gotten the spell Tumuluous Strength off of several mobs on the 5th floor of the Tower of Frozen Shadow in Iceclad
SCROLL DROPS, By Korat (5/1/2001)

I have seen the follwoing spells drop from the wurms (elders, ancients, guardians, crystallines, and matriarch):
Enticement of Flame
Wakening Lands Portal
Splurt
Improved Invis to Undead
Improved Invisibility.

No direct info on where this drops, although when I clicked the "Great Divide" link under the vendor listed for this spell, I got a list about other relative spells dropping in that zone. (Would assume the drop locations are the same for this spell)

This spell is not a static merchant item. The only time you'll find this on a merchant is if a player received the spell as a drop, then sold it.

We picked up 3 or 4 of these while camping the Crystaline Shardwurm cave in GD. Seems to drop regularly in there.

(NOT sure if this spell was added to the thurg library till after velious)? I had to search zam posts for this one. Would assume it is a standard lvl 50 spell drop from random areas in Velious.

I've just hit 55, and I'm having some trouble locating this spell. My hunts in Velious haven't turned it up yet, and I have yet to see this in the Bazaar. I've also checked the Library in New Tanaan and the East Commonlands tunnel (June 2003) and they haven't mysteriously appeared on vendors (darn!).

The information here is pretty spotty, so I've been scouring other sources, trying to sort out where to hunt for this. Here's what I've found:

Confirmed specific drops:
Plane of Mischief: Lithiniath
Plane of Growth: A Phase Puma, A Sylvan Protector, Grahl Strongback
Velketor's Labyrinth: A Velium Hunter, A Velium Stalker, Crystal Guardian, Icy Guardian

From this collection of sources, and since other high level spells have dropped along with it, it seems clear it's on a random loot table. Unconfirmed statements suggest it can drop from mobs in any of these zones: Plane of Growith, Plane of Mischief, Kael Drakkel, Velketor's Labyrinth, Siren's Grotto, and Western Wastes.

If you have any concrete information about where you found your Call of Fire scroll, please post it here. Looks like it could be a long hunt with many folks leaving Velious in favor of the Planes of Power.

If im not mistaken, I believe this spell is dropped by the dragon in WL. This is a very dangerous dragon, and should not be attempted to be fought without at least 2 or 3 full groups 50+.

Also PoG
