We all know the big match everyone is waiting for, ranger. I'm excited in the pants.

The truth:

Gongshow completely annihilates Wanyo.

Gongshow fights Colgate, and gets Colgate down to 4% (even with iksar regen and Colgate having more hitpoints). This also includes Gongshow not using inner flame, but using his avoidance discipline and was a bit late on the trigger. You can be the judge who is clearly the better pvper, it is obvious to me. During the fight, Colgate also spent the majority of the fight just trying to kite and take advantage of his regen.

Wuji fights Colgate, who is an alt (only lvl 58 with far less hp) and clearly out-played Colgate. This match was the longest.

Nothxu fights Nizzar and there is no kiting and bullshiting. Due to RNG, Nothxu ends up winning the fight. Nizzar would have stomped me had he jousted me.

Nothxu fights Colgate and loses quite handily due to iksar regen, less hitpoints than Colgate, and poor chasing skills (you think I would be better at chasing Azrael since all they do is run). While Colgate had the time to taunt, I also had ole Tupac trading with me during the fight. If I had to do it all over again, I would have not chased, and just waited for Colgate to get snared. If you watched the fight, I clearly was not moving as quickly as Colgate, due to not strafing as well or whatever.

I never claim to be a pvp god, but I think it's funny watching everyone suck colgate's peepee (let's not forget he only got his character because of a bogus GM event, let's see how his "main" does in the bard Botb) when he successfully won at the character selection screen (even though he did not create his character) and had better gear / regen against everyone that he faced. But that's forumquest for you.

Furthermore, if you parse the fight between Gongshow / Colgate, I am sure Gongshow did far more damage.

Fun fights were had, but let's be a little more realistic about the outcomes bras.

i got the short end of the stick in RNG when it came to the gongshow and wuji fights; gongshow and i were pretty close in the amounts of rounds we got off on each other, just his ended up actually doing damage whereas mine would be missed/blocked

wuji fight was the same story except he jousted worse than gongshow did; to say he outplayed me is a massive joke

nizzar deserved to lose for going full retard and going toe to toe

you lost the fight against me because you are literally one of the worst jousters on the entire server; the tupac thing had nothing to do with it as i did not even pressure you or attack you when he was on the arena, in fact, i even tried to kill him before he got deathtouched

discrediting the fact that i won because i traded for my character is also laughable; i wasn't aware that pvp skills derive from 15 days /played of grinding NPCs

you want to be realistic about he outcomes? i played the fights how they should be played and took the victory with a tattered mantle, feathered leggings, and a black headband in front of the entire server while being called a speedhacker

Get this man a Robe of Azure Sky and a wheelchair. He's a regular Stephen Hawking.

I think it is fair to say I suck at jousting, not really disputing that fact. I haven't got to practice a lot, took forever to get a t-staff.

I guess I feel that you should actually have to put work into your character to use it in a best of the best, not simply show up for a GM event and be awarded an item, which you then trade for a character. That part to me is laughable.

Regardless of some holes in your gear, you still had more regen and more hp than anyone you went up against.

yeah, i still had more hp than anyone i fought because i did nothing but stack hp gear

my str/agi/dex were pretty piss-poor compared to the people i fought

maybe you guys should, i don't know, plan accordingly next time?

i don't see you mentioning anything about checkraise letting someone else play his character, yet you seem pretty buttmad that i traded for a nearly-naked 59 monk with a tstaff and won the best of the best with it
