Or when they have 168 magic resist and something that should be a total non issue at that point lands on the first cast :P.

It is really sad the changes haven't been done yet.

Obvious facts:

1) Changes wouldn't take much time.
2) The ones in charge know what we want since the talk has happened according to Sirken.
3) Nilbog at least agrees with some quick and easy changes according to Sirken.

What else can be said besides they just don't care.

Implementing an expansion, Velious, takes a tremendous amount of time and of course if you have to choose which is most important you choose Velious, but in this case it is irrelevant since there is such a drastic gap in the amount of time each one requires.

Velious is going to take months and months to implement and it will benefit all active players of project 1999, red and blue.

These pvp changes literally take an hour out of someone's day and would benefit 15-20% of project 1999 player base. It is a no brainer on the priority list to implement the changes if the ones in charge cared.

Removing PVP xp death, adding yellow text, and nerfing the tranquil staff would probably take about 5 minutes. Those are all literally 1 liners.

Implementing the classic resist system is also a 1-liner if the pvpresistX stuff is in the database and I understand things correctly:

resist = ((targetlevel-casterlevel)*(pvpresistbase-pvpresistmax)/pvplevelrange + pvpresistbase + GetResist()) > Random(0, pvpresistcalc-pvpresistbase)

Note that true classic resists do not equal trivial immunity to root. Lucy has Fetter at pvpresistmax = -49, pvpresistbase = 12, pvpresistcalc = 135. So a L60 would be immune at 123MR and a L52 at 184MR. If there is an enchanter around with the 50% SZ debuff bonus, you'd need 183MR. At 150MR as an even con with tash (effective 90MR) you'd only resist 75% of the time.

WE JUST WANT TO FIGHT

we absolutely understand that there are things that take priority as far as the future of project 1999 goes. But this one crucial change that I believe is very simply to apply is a determining factor to this box.

you know that this issue is completely true when Heartbrand makes a post and everyone in the community agrees. +1 from me.

Sirken - appreciate your efforts and assistance, but there have literally been 0 PVP improvements since server release (with the exception of the xp bonus) - there is so much low hanging fruit for pvp improvement its silly to defend the status quo.
