personally ive gone from 75k to 350k in my bank from 2 trades. Sometimes you get great deals and are lucky. Sometimes you see where the market is trending and you work it that way. There are plenty of ways to make money. On live when luclin hit my highest level toon was 28 and i had 2 million plat. All from buying and selling in EC. It's not my fault some people don't value their items the same way others do. But on that note there are plenty of "fishy" traders in EC.

Call it all you want. Some guy wanted a Fungi really bad and i had one and traded me a Cloak of Crystalline Waters for it. It was the first CoCW that was actually traded on the server as it was a few weeks after velious opened up. Apparently the guys bro gave it to him and was pissed he traded it for a fungi but i had already turned around and sold it for 500k within 2 hours. That netted me a 425k profit at that time. Sucks some people are stupid but someone has to profit off of it. That was the largest profit i ever made off a trade but it all added up. I would sit in EC for 4-5 hours every night and 12-18 hours on the weekend when i was in High school. Trust me it comes alot easier to some then others. Well some people that just pop out of no where with tons of plat buying things for more then market value strikes me as odd sometimes. But i have also seen people do just that that werent cheating. More so some of the fishiness that goes on between forums and contact in game. I rather not name names as i have contacted the right people about it but i'm all for getting rid of these people.

I may be naive, but I always saw that as a rich player gearing up another alt wholesale.

I pay attention for those folks because that's who buys my low end items =)

Unless you mean the /auc lines where someone is searching out about 5 BiS tradeable items...
