Requesting Help from GMs and Veteran Players to Track down Scammer: Mythoxxus/Napkin

I like how I post a petition of a guy scamming me, with chat logs of the entire thing along with him admitting it, and I basically get told that getting scammed is an at your own risk thing and doesnt get punished.

So what I'm mostly hearing is that the ban of this guy is completely irrelevant to this post. It had a lot more to do with how much RMT plat he was throwing around, and I was just caught in the storm.

So really, GMs aren't exactly picking and choosing, I just got lucky in that the person who happened to scam me was a person who was going to get fucked for RMT anyway.

Its not like I got the ranger back or anything...

1) I hate it when the term hacked is misused. I remember Lexigan was stripped by his former guildleader because he made the guild form login/password the same as his login account. Not a good idea.

2) Considering how ridiculous your previous trade with him was I think even if he scammed you out of the ranger you still came out on top [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I always kinda wondered if that guy was some sort of RMTer; he had so much pp that he was throwing around so casually. Usually the people that earn it in game aren't so eager to trade away fungi staffs. Exhibit A: Catherin

Loraen you know I love you but

1) The login for the emu and log in were different. He didn't have the information for the emu but figured it out through the login server id/pw cause it was similar... somewhat my fault, but its not like they were EXACTLY the same.

2) and nah I didn't come out on top. I still lost my vibrating gloves of infuse.

So I don't wanna go into details on the forum but based about what you told me for your previous mythoxxus trade, if he had asked you to throw in an extra 1.5 million I would still think the trade would be a (small) win for you.

What really sucks about this is all the prenerf staffs getting banned because RMTers keep buying them!

I traded vibrating gaunts of infuse to him for a bunch of shit, and then traded that bunch of shit for the ranger more or less (threw in some of my plat too).

So in this sense, i was scammed out of the vibrating gauntlets of infuse.
