The emancipation proclamation didn't free a single northern slave. It was a political move that had absolutely no legal bearing which purported to "free" southern slaves, so that they would be more likely to revolt.

Weak minded apologist? Do you even know the history of Lincoln? Dude personally ignored 80% of what was written in the constitution for the express purpose of making sure it survived his term and so the nation would stay in one piece. He was a hardass who did what had to be done even resorting to political assassinations and media censorship during the war.

If you're going to hate on him hate him for being like Stalin because he was nothing like Chamberlain.

Are you saying gun registrations have never led to confiscations? You do realize every time it's happened in history, there's registration, confiscation, and then mass systematic state sponsored murder/exterminations.
