Wow, I didnt expect to see a resurgence of interest in the all Iksar guild. The name was just on my alts. Im not sure the guild is what people are expecting these days. Every time we grew in number, the better players would leave for the raiding guilds. The revolving door got old and we somewhat closed shop.
Perhaps the dynamics have changed and people have played the end game enough that they are willing to do something different with an alt now? Who knows? Being a part of the original Harbingers of Thule on Rallos Zek and the first months of the Kunark launch here, were easily the best times I've had on EQ.
I wouldnt mind knowing how many people would like to help this go down, either with your main or by making an alt and having some RP fun. Brainstorm and come up with things that made EQ fun back in the day, good change of pace from ..."raid mob x is in window, be ready at WC..."

I'd be up for bringing it back. Sarkhan is still guilded but only pops in to make armor once in a while.. I would like to get Outcast guilded and you'll see me around more often :-)

I have the worst case of altaholicism but I think I'd be down to make an Iskar if I had people around my level to play with. I found the Iskar starting areas to be pretty harsh, but you don't get to play the coolest race without some tradeoffs.

I had my first encounter with an iksar bearing the Harbingers tag. He was in group bragging about the thousands of kpp worth of phat lewtz he had gotten the night before while sitting on his ass and not contributing. The only time he got up was to rush over and loot a piece of FS that dropped. When we called him out on it he /q'd. The next day he ninja invited me to a group and when I declined he KSed my pull.

Players like that make for a bad first impression of a guild. If you want to know the name so you can cull the shitty player from your ranks, PM me.

I know the "boohoo he ks'd me" flames are forthcoming, but I thought you might want to know about the guy who is racing to tarnish your guild.
