I have a co-worker who had parents who made less money than mine, who went to a worse elementary and high school as me in podunk-ville, who chose to get a better education, has a higher salary, chose to rent out his first condo to use the payments towards his new mortgage, making his new mortgage basically free, who has less debt + around $200k in savings accounts in online banks with great interest rates + stonks

Smarter person made better choices, simple as that

He had enough saved then to where he didn’t need to do an FHA and could put more than 20% down to have a great interest rate. He is extremely frugal to the point where he cancels all his internet and phone plans to get them to give him a discount to stay, he “churns” credit cards where he puts up to $5k on them or whatever he needs to get tons of free stuff, then immediately pays the card off and cancels it. Got into crypto when it was on an upswing, got out before a downswing, only invests in spread-out stock types or w/e

And what do I have to show for it? Being ~$250,000 in debt. Which is MY fault, due to not being frugal with my money and making better financial decisions. At any point I could choose to listen to financial advice podcasts that my co-workers and relatives listen to, rather than fitness podcasts. My lack of knowledge is MY choice. I ignored the concept of work smarter, not harder

I simply have never had this problem you speak of. In my life, if something has gone wrong, 9 times out of 10 someone fucked up and it wasn't me.

When a lib says conservatives are trying to do something, it is essentially guaranteed to be a total misrepresentation or an outright fabrication.

"Don't say gay" bill was actually the "Don't talk about weird sex stuff to kids younger than 3rd grade in public schools" bill. Including hetero sex, just don't talk to young kids about sex. That's literally all it was. They have no arguments so they have to pretend you hate gay people or black people or whatever. It's pure emotional blackmail and bullying.
