I almost wonder if all the Red Wave talk caused some conservatives to figure “we got this” and not bother voting
No I think it's more a backlash against Trump. Trump-backed and fervent Trump-supporting candidates did not do well. He is toxic to the Republican party.

There was also a large turnout of young voters and they love all that woke crap.

You're wrong, and I don't watch the big entertainment news channels anymore.

Trump needs to go if the Republicans want a shot at the presidency in 2024.

DeSantis would win against almost any dem in 2024

Trump would lose to almost any dem. I’m not sure how the National GOP getting spanked but Florida going 60% red with what looks like majority Hispanic support doesn’t make this obvious

Lol nice spin by comparing midterms. Youth vote was second highest ever after 2018. Look at the vote statistics in close races. Youth voters swung them a vast majority of the time.

Proud of my generation and the generations below me choosing democracy over a petulant child like trump and his candidates!

Dunno much about guns, my gun has still never been fired once

But I've always liked the look of revolvers, that was my fav gun as a kid. It would be cool to own one, despite them seeming impractical as a type of gun for someone who also doesn't have much to do with guns. But I'd have to have piles of disposable income before I'd ever consider it
