assuming the white nationalist message is anti-American (i don't know and it's not important for identifying bias).

for consistency, the right ought to express opposition as they generally do on similar issues (anti-american ministers/imams/activist groups) while the left should express tolerance for a minority angered by perceived unjust treatment.

i realize not all individuals adhere to the messages trumpeted from the sides they dwell on, but in general, the right condemns this sort of thing without consideration while the left in general seeks to understand it. responding differently to anti-american sentiment based on the origins is indicative of bias.
