The biggest merger amongst active top guilds on this server was most definitely europa/remedy + IB into TR before kunark... europa and remedy were huge guilds of people.
The dozekar + DA merger was in reply to that merger (after having taken the lead immediately prior to kunark), and was awful (most notably because acarer was an idiot and durison didn't think things through) Essentially DA and its players went back to ascension, which then merged with TMO, giving TMO enough "good" players (aka "raid-ready") to make the next step and compete (and later overtake) TR. Most of the cores of DA and IB are gone now, and hell, a lot of the players that were there when TMO was going at it with TR. Most don't remember many of the players. Comparing players from then and now is like comparing MJ to LBJ.. Lotta talk, but different time periods and different competition. I've seen TR with 80+ people, I've seen TMO with 80+ people, I've seen DA with 80+ people and I'm sure once velious comes back out we'll see guilds with crazy amounts again. I know its fun to compare the past and measure epeens and who did what with less and who the best is... but to be honest, no one is objective and everyone thinks that what they were apart of was the best so who really cares. have fun guys! pst in game for free clarity as always! oh and hi relapse

Liquidate the guild bank and split with as much as they can grab. Leaving the remaining silent mass of players lost and split up into the rest of the guilds. Honestly if they returned and did this it would be the best thing for TMO as they are 100% poison to any guild they are associated with. So when FE talks about letting Getsome and Adriana "lead" your raids in VP and beyond remember what happens when they lose. | |||
