The parties spent $500 million on the Georgia runoffs in 2020. I bet they waste a lot of money this year too

Imagine if we spent that money on training engineers and welders. Damn we’re dumb

And when you look at how big Kemp won, if Herschel didn't get in the endzone then, he's not going to do it in a runoff. 50/50 Senate again. Each flipped one seat.

I almost wonder if all the Red Wave talk caused some conservatives to figure “we got this” and not bother voting

The electorate turned more Republican compared to 2020 by about 2%, but most of that was in Florida, Texas, and New York and in close races it was only by 0.4%. Republicans also lost independents by a decent margin, which is a first for a party in the opposition in a midterm since 2002

Interesting, I read it was going to be less than that. Republicans also lost independents. I guess we’ll see when everything is counted

I do know the run ups in Florida and Texas are part of that though (and count for not much)

The act of voting itself, I think, is a conservative value.

I think it was more of the Maga side and I think it was more because "it's all rigged".

If that pans out I am going to astroturf so many alt accounts on so many forums screaming about a RED WAVE in 2024

(pretty sure this already happens everywhere for everyone)
