They did like the whole January 6 trial live but the only time they try to shut it off is when Trump can speak for himself.

They won't do it live because they know they can't hang with someone who will point out bs at every turn.

Its kinda the same reason they didn't bring bannon on. Bannon would do the whole battlefield narritive of the politics as a war theatre in ww2.
