No im saying there are people who identify as 'their party is better than the other party'.. Those people say such things as, climate science is pseudoscience or on the other side any discussion about Muslim religion or about the gender pay gap is pseudoscience... and that group, (made up of liberals and republicans) are less than the group of people that just dont give a shit about either party and are open minded to opinions of both sides.

Melon, close but, Bernie sanders has nothing to do with it, in fact his message and image is in the process of being hijacked by the former group and will have no clout any longer because he will be sucked into the feverish need for appreciation all democrat/republican politicians are addicted to and will start pandering to his base and just be a parrot whatever they say, which is any valid point made about the Muslim religion is pseudoscience or Hillary lost because of sexism/racism, so chances are hes going to not even have a shot at 2020 meanwhile us folks that think trump is hilarious and another 4 years of it would be great either cus its funny, or maybe he'll jump start the apocalypse and kill all the liberals in California or for whatever reason, will win.

But the former point is if you identify with this

Unlike the 1990s bounceback, I don't think there is another bounce coming. Wealth is too super-concentrated with government oligarchic protection on those concentrations. Too big to fail.

So you had this time after the Reagan era where prosperity and growth rapidly expanded through 1999, where salaries and the middle class were skyrocketing. The term "Upper-Middle" became applicable.

Numbers don't lie. The Fat King's market deregulation strategy can't even get past congress. We won't even see any cringe 1980 tax cuts. The truth is the current establishment Republicans know that the Reagan tax plan is the stuff of mythology. Its a complete fabrication by the super elite lobbyist groups. Its not common sense tax reform.

Common sense tax reform is increasing capital gains on speculation and slashing taxes on 35k to 90k/yr salaries. Letting the former Middle Class breathe is the American thing to do at this point. Stop punishing poor people for bailouts and Wallstreet's speculation mistakes.

You have this super-concentration of wealth and passive earning, overnight billionaires exploiting buddy systems. No more raw entrepreneurship.

The marketplace is fully matured. And you want to continue to tax a 125k/yr IT salary as upper class? With such a large accumulation of wealth at the top, you target the smallest pockets who could be saving to start a small local business and actually create jobs and have an impact?

You are taxing future entrepreneurs out of the marketplace with the current tax policy. It doesn't make any sense. Then the Fat King wants to skip over these individuals, the Middle Class future entrepreneurs and give the tax cut to the super elite, because that makes IT guy get paid more??

Nobody I know believes their IT salary or IT prospects increase if Google, Comcast, and Verizon get a tax break. Nobody. If anything they are planning to pay people as little money as possible while posting record gain financial statements for their shareholders. Because that is how it works, corporations have to post gains. Why would you give a tax break to someone who HAS to post gains? If they increase salary, that takes away from your gains you can post to your shareholders that you are beholden to.

Everyone I know making 50k/yr in the city is still living check-to-check. Why are these guys paying for private bank failures again?

DNC IT guy paid 4.5 million over a few years of working at the DNC for Wasserman Schultz. His whole family was making six-figures as an Indian citizen.

The Civil War wasn't fought for slavery, how to temper the cost of labor in the emerging industrial revolution, slavery is free (holy shit yes to the business mind), but to the down the road mind it makes sense to not have it for social well being (wage labor that morphed into hourly and the cluster fuck that is wages stagnating while production has massively increased). The middle class is the new slavery, wage slave, because we have bills, but we can also say fuck off to our bosses, fuck something up, and then sue the shit out of them. He doesn't own or produce anything. He is just a re-seller of goods, has great items he selected to market and sell. He does not share what those items are, his marketing strategy, or even the name of his store with anyone. He does not want competition.

I've never asked him for help or information on it, because he is just an acquaintance. He owes me fuckall. He does not owe me the creation of competition against his own business.

What a bunch of fucking shameless losers there are in 2017. Try befriending or offering someone ANYTHING of value before you go demanding they write their success playbook for you.

I'll never stop wishing I knew the intricate details of his retail business. But I will never ask because I adhere to social norms and have a sense of decency. I'd never cross that line.

Basic decency is the over arcing issue. We've been conditioned that moneh equals everything, but that diminishes the tool function of money as a thing. So what people are asking when they ask about money is what do you have in your tool shed. People don't understand that because money is a tool, it takes skill, talent to utilize that tool efficiently. Most people, now, don't utilize money efficiently and couldn't fathom what 2k gallons of liquid will do at 5psi. Pythagoras and Diogenes of Sinope are afterthoughts yet the Platonics are grasping at every inch of straw.
