One being implicit, and the other being explicit; I have not yet determined their value, but am leaning towards "evil" in their disposition alike

I thought this was a more mature community that has been on the internet for years.

I'm not saying there aren't degrees/gradients of severity.

If in the desire to impose Will upon others, desire devolves to action (violence), then we can assume that along the road to that violence are degrees of severity culminating in violence.

However, in the perspective of BLM insurrection, explicit violence was invoked as a platform for voicing a desire to restore a platform perceptibly lost by those invoking the violence.

Likewise, in the perspective of the electorial insurrection, implicit violence was expressed as a platform for voicing a desire to restore a platform perceptively lost by those participating in implying the threat of violence.

Likewise, in the perspective of the indigenous people of Afghanistan, of which includes the Taliban, explicit violence is being expressed as a platform for voicing a desire to restore a platform perceptively lost by those conducting the violence.

We have three aspects out of the four necessary to decode this connundrum and unless reconciled, creates a divisive rift that culminates in further estrangement threatening the prospect of global violence.

No one wants to give up their position to satisfy the antithesis, as they feel extorted and or forced into this avenue.

Note, the least common denominator in all three of these manifestations, is the US government.

I don't know if it's the fact that it's more serious or not. It's probably more that we're supposed to be a more educated, sophisticated, civilized, and just country. So when things like Jan 6th happen, there's going to be an obvious uproar. And while I'm sure many aren't oblivious to the fact that those involved in the insurrection were clearly emotional, just like every violent riot that's happened recently, we should be better.

I'm sorry I had to explain this.

The argument has been that one shouldn't be treated less seriously as is because of the other. Civilization isn't pass-fail. "At least they didn't..." isn't a great campaign slogan.

It's only because we have a military that defends the constitution that it wasn't as bad as Afghanistan. That doesn't make an attempted coup less serious.
