Then why mention it? If everyone in America is racist, why point out the shortcomings of white people? By calling white people oppressive, you're implying that someone else is being oppressed.

Newsflash, they aren't. Oppression in ferguson is being done by black mobs destroying black businesses. Maybe Darren Wilson was a bigot. Maybe the prosecutor didn't seek an indictment because he was a bigot. All that proves is that there are two bigots in Missouri. It doesn't mean the entire system is rigged or that racism is prevalent everywhere, and it CERTAINLY doesn't mean that the greater damage being done to that town was by Darren Wilson as compared to black people destroying the entire city and looting it. I really don't understand liberals. I'm sorry, I just don't get it.

I suppose I'll elaborate - people need to be held accountable. Nowhere did I say people should never be held to account, or should never be at fault.

I am saying Darren Wilson is human. I am saying Jeffrey Dahmer was human, as despicable and unforgivable as his crimes were. The first step in dealing with this problem is to stop dehumanizing people, whether that person is a person of color or a white man or a neo-Nazi or a sociopathic serial killer/rapist/cannibal.

They were born to a mother and are subject to the very same workings of biology that all of us are. This doesn't mean people should never be locked up, or never be blamed, or never be held accountable for their actions or crimes.

When I say caucasians are an oppressive, racist people, I'm just stating a fact. It would be ahistorical to say otherwise. I plainly called it an ugly truth that we now have to - and are - dealing with. I didn't say it's a lovely little anecdote that we can now forgive all the crimes of all murderous white men everywhere. It's a disgusting result of our past that we must first accept if we're ever going to be able to change it.
