I dont know, if roads were private buisness run perhaps we'd see some of those wierd hexigonal roads that like do something that everyone shared on the internet last year that I forget what they do
Who is going monitor their cost setting? Bubba n the boomcats? They will take whatever can be taken from the people a CEO MBA from Harvard Business just admitted they've been indoctrinated accordingly and that corporate culture needs to change if tax cuts are going to actually work and create jobs instead of going into a blackhole of bonuses and salary raises with the rest thrown into R&D, consulting, and auditing.

I'm afraid tax cuts do not create jobs. Growth does. Tax cuts =/= growth

liberals like, 'no if you open it to private buisness then only nazis and the kkk will start companies!'
Before we had regulated roads, assholes could charge whatever they wanted for usage of their road for however long it was and wherever they built it. It didn't take long for shipping costs to rise across the board with them new fangled horseless carriages. It's like Pokes said and like you're running out of material.

Cool

the problem with a unregulated market is consolidation. in any competition for dominance, one always gonna achieve hegemony unless all's sufficiently restrained. having just few monster entities is not much better than having just one neither. gotta have a lot fighting for customers, differentiating they products and stuff. that apply to all markets including the labor market. if you not gonna regulate it and allow consolidation instead, you gonna have a bad time.

Privatize the police and the army

Just need everyone to have a gun for self defense, problem solved. Some popular trials with a good ole rope and noose and bam, you have justice, i don't need no gay judge in a robe to tell me that i can't lynch tyrone

We already have blackwater for the army, just let other companies bid on that new carrier, simple as that

So sick of all these soldiers and firefighters taking my hard earned money.. get a real job lazy fatasses

self governance is neither wise not just and consolidating that rule reprsentatively only open the door to exploitation and adverse selection while remedying neither the issues
inherent of collective rule. if we cannot be both wise and just, then lettuce be wise if not just that we be instead just to the future of humanity. give us a machine with no heart or soul who will rule with Reason.

taking the tax dollars away from the military industrial complex is the same as literally taking the coal from the coal miners!

yeah, I think it help out our struggling legal industry by spurring development of a whole new sector dedicated to transportation contract. it also help with traffic and keep roads accessible and minimize emergency vehicle response time and decrease carbon foot prints by funneling people to some kinda rideshare systems. we could establish a new government entity to regulate the roads too and streamline the permitting & membership dues for all the different road firms that might operate in a shared space.
