I would assume the same sort of reasons: too much hard drug use, too few entry level jobs with upward mobility, population density

Just possibly slightly less crime, depending on the city

Pretty sure some of these super poor red states still have blue cities but not super on top of my geography

Yes everyone understands that red cities also have crime. Nobody is saying that only blue cities have crime and that red cities have zero crime.

The problem is that the available data *clearly* shows blue cities have way more crime (specifically violent crime) than red cities, per capita. Which means population size is being controlled for.

So rather than deny that fact, maybe suggest ways that democrats can better control crime in their jurisdictions. Like for instance actually prosecuting and imprisoning violent criminals!

It does appear that FBI crime statistics are kinda garbage. There seems to be some database switch in the last few years and so much isn’t being reported. That site posted that some states like FL just don’t participate it’s like WTF? No offense FBI but your record keeping sounds like dogshit

Definitely not internationally

There are parts of Asia, India, etc that are extremely population dense with not huge amounts of crime

But in the US, I could see how smashing people on top of each other in small spaces would lead to shitty attitudes. Too much traffic on the road is just the beginning….
