They had guns.
No country published the real number of deaths, to not negatively impact trade.
The only country who was honest was Spain.
Is why we call it the Spanish flu.
Vaccines were safe sometimes.
Less so other times.
People still lined up.
And were happy about vaccinal passports.
Which existed in the US before, if you were wondering about their constitutionality.

I would also like to point out that migrants coming into the USA are required to have... their vaccines. (not only for covid, but now, also yes)
