Sorry bud but there is a billion times as much crime in historically democrat run cities. It's not even close. Rather than deny reality maybe think of ways to change it? Radical ideas such as: arrest and imprison violent criminals rather than releasing them over and over would be a good start.

Its about the velocity of assault rifle rounds. They can go right through concrete, break the god damn wall down with 7.62x39. You do understand that higher velocity and more mass = more damage, right? That rapid fire, 30-100 round drum mags, armor piercing blah blah.

You just wont be able to do the same around of damage with a 9mm as quickly, as accurately from a distance. Most people, like 99% of people, cant hit a target 15 meters away with a pistol. Rifle makes it mad easy.

You're saying DPS does not exist, everything is exactly the same. All guns are exactly the same. Thats why snipers use pistols. Mass shooters use bolt action rifles all the time! Right?

Being able to shoot hundreds and hundreds of rounds a minute is exactly the same thing as shooting 12 9mm. Dropping a 100 round drum mag of .223 is the same thing as reloading a mag of 12, same thing right? Cause 12+12 = 200. Exactly the same. Belt fed is the same as bolt action, right?

All of it is for killing people. War, murder, and very very rarely has an assault rifle been used in actual self-defense.

If a criminal has knowledge that their intended victim has an ar-15 they probably will pass that victim over. If a crime that would have occurred is deterred by the presence of a highly lethal weapon, that still counts as self defense, and it also explains why they aren't more represented in self defense statistics.

Rifles account for the vast minority of gun deaths, hand guns account for the vast majority. You're myopically focusing only on mass-shootings, which is understandable because they're very emotionally salient, but they also cloud your ability to think rationally about the gun issue.

Just hear me out. You'd rather have chicago full of AR's AKs SKS' and everything else over everyone being kinda forced to use a handgun? You want those heavy, high speed round flying around and impacting people and everything else over .25, .32, 9mm, 40, etc.

When someone comes to kick your door in your rob you, you'd rather they were holding something with .300 blackout, 30 round mag, suppressed over a chrome .25?

Mass shooter at the workplace of a family member, someone you love or even you. You'd rather the guy has a few 100 round drum mags, can blast right through the walls 5 at a time, over a pistol?

Sounds like you want the guy to have the highest caliber, most round per min possible.

If you were ever honest with yourself, you know damn well its easier to shoot anything with a rifle. Modern rifles are so accurate, a pistol is only as good as its user. Rifle is point and death. So easy, a guy with an IQ of like 80 can use it.
