I called it S-oh for all of EQ live. Then I played P1999 and got vent. It's now S-ow. Just more fun to say, imo.

Since it's spelled s-o-w it should be pronounced like the actual word.

But... there's also an actual word that is pronounced s-ow, as in a female pig.

Which makes your post a little bit ironic, guineapig.

Also, if you pronounce it like the noun, there is no room for confusion as to what word you mean, whereas if you pronounce it like the verb, you could just as well mean 'sew', or 'so'.

So, I pronounce it like the pig. I think that sews it up.

I just figured since people use it as a verb all the time: "SoW me please"
it made more sense.

"s-ow" to me is a female pig, so I always said "s-oh" or "sew" or however you want to spell it.

Then again, I also called Qeynos "kway-nohss," when my wife informed me it's "Key-nohss." And a number of other mispronunciations she has leet insider knowledge of.

I always felt "So" could easily be confused with the word So in conversation, so I started saying "s-ow" to be more distinctive...It does feel kind of odd to say s-ow though...
