Agree with OP, globalooc has served its purpose and is no longer needed, it even ruins the game for some, not me personally, only indirectly in the Way that it now tends to drive people off the box instead of in.

I do not agree that YT is a good idea though. It will merely make people argue over how many vs 1 it was, and frankly i dont care if slathar killed sad_lowbie05 in guk or not. It will also further encourage plugging, which is bad enough as it is.

This is an emulation of a game from 1999, that was a pretty mature game anyway. The average age here has to be like 30. So why are there so many people giddy about the regurgitated unoriginal 4chan meme garbage trolling barrens chat crap, and rl attacks that go on in ooc? Who the hell is excited about that other than 14 year olds? I guess global ooc is cool for trading and whatnot, but the easier the game is, the less fun it becomes, imo.. Global ooc is not classic, not needed anymore, annoying, but if I turn it off then I am at a disadvantage versus the dingus trolls who get trades and ports and whatever else. ya ditto here, I was a big proponent of global ooc but all it is now is a huge turn off to new players as they see the same old "LOL YELLOW TEETH UR KIDS SUCK U FAT FAG NO LIFE LOL LOL U BAD" 24/7. Should remove it or start enforcing suspensions for global ooc abuse / time limit between uses.
