So WHY were the titles removed?

I mean if you are the first to accomplish something of great significance that should count?

Why remove them?

I did not realize nilbog was the owner. Man I'm getting corrected all over the place...

Still doesnt change the fact that he was talking in private tells, and in a fairly personal area, so... Bans? Really?

Because they weren't available in classic EQ.

We'll try and create events for titles, but not mass-disperse them. Individual titles will not just be handed out either. There are plenty in EQ lore, "of Qeynos", all the botb, test of tactics, royal rumble, etc.

If you can provide evidence that it existed in Live, we will try and create an event where it is obtainable. They were definitely not common.

I also posted some thoughts of the rest of the available botb titles in a thread somewhere.

Suspending/Banning someone because they display distaste for a server decision is insane...you should see some of the inspect messages out there, though they are not directed at you Rogean or the rest of the staff they are truly offensive in many other ways. I wont name names but I have seen some nasty ones directs at whole populations and races of people...do something about those as well please...ban.

also....PHOTOSHOP anyone? I hope you realize how stupid easy it is to Photoshop an EQ conversation SS. Nothing posted has any validity unless its in the logs and can be confirmed. Or you can also simply log on another server, make a char with the same name and start having a conversation.

Either way, if Oly said that or not, posting it and reacting in that manner was out of line. Sure...he shouldn't be talking about anyone that way but the fact is its too easy to fake and was dealt with poorly by both sides.

Why GIVE them in the first place Nilbog? I'm not calling anyone out, but the fact that Tralina's title is being WAY overlooked. If she can't have one no one can?

If someone wants to try and appeal a suspension or ban, they can do it the same way everyone else does. Post in the petition/exploit portion of the forums.

Lots of people had random titles. Now none of them do. It was easy to remove all of them, and it was done with good reason.

If you have to know the truth, I didn't give them out originally. I wasn't even online.
