This server reminds me of the Pittsburgh Pirates. It's going to perenially suck until the organization is completely gutted, starting at the very top. Until then, I'm not much of a fan, just casually follow for the comedy.

Not even a wipe can save this abortion of a server.

Damn Pirates. I keep getting my hopes up they may FINALLY turn it around and finish above .500 (not playoffs, just .500)... but sooner or later it always comes crashing down.

Like Red99. Had so much fun first few weeks. Then when the people who wanted to play, couldn't keep logging in for 5 hours a day like they could when they had no fucking responsibilities 15 years ago...

Just like the Pirates it all fades away into a mess of tears and those loyal few who talk about 1992 like it was yesterday, even those most of the people weren't even alive then (sound familiar, the idiots who brag about 1999 weren't even around then)

wipe it clean, add yellow text, add increased exp, add global ooc, basically do everything the vztz krew said to do in the first place, server pop back at 300, more ad revenue, win win... hurry the fuck up.

only a wipe will save it because it's the only thing that would bring enough people back AT ONE TIME to solve a lot of the issues. everything else like EXP, YT, leaderboards, resist fixes, etc., will only bring a couple of people at a time who will all ultimately quit because there's not enough people who return at any given point in time to group with / guild with etc. a wipe will bring enough people back for that to happen.

having said that, a wipe won't ever happen, but perhaps a new box will.

A wipe would save the server? more like just cater to the crowd that lives for the short lifespan these boxes provide. Be the first to 50, grief a few 44s for a couple weeks, call yourself a king and retire. Such is the life of a EQ Emu PvP demi-god.
