Understand where you're coming from, but its not that simple.

Exp isn't so much the problem as finding someone to get exp with. Game revolves around community and group interaction, always had. When the sense of community dissolves due to rampant asshatery and low population, it makes it impossible, or at best unpalatable to continue playing.

You should just stop there. This is the inherent problem Red99 faces right now.

Glad you agree in part, but changing experience, or adding something to promote it is not the solution in and of itself. Thats why theres two more paragraphs, which are true whether you agree or not.

Though yes, the server was updated a few months ago, the updates come without notice or deliberation, either before or after. If the community just had a regular update on the direction of the server, and admins participating in server improvement discussions, shit would go a long, long way. Players want to know roughly what changes are coming and when, so they can determine how worthwhile their time investment is. Otherwise, people wonder if the most recent patch was the last.

Like I said elsewhere, if players were to hear sky was coming out this weekend and kunark would be released starting july 1st, I'd wager more than a few players would feel it was worth their time to log on and try to finish leveling and gearing up in anticipation for new content. Throw in an Admin update regarding resists and game mechanics, and you'd see a lot of life come back into the community, just about guaranteed.

Exp isnt a problem for me with red99 it just got stale.....Spend hours in fear/hate farming pixels waiting for Nihi raid night for them to log on to see they are the only ones online.With yellow text on Loz its obvious theres more pvp there atm.Will it last? Who knows but with no input from devs where there state of the server is no one has faith that the box will progress.There simply isnt enough players who wanna grind out old world at the slow pace.Casual players need to be enticed to play to keep a strong population and so do the diehards.

You certainly don't go to a server like LoZ to exerience Everquest the game, which is largely personal player progression and pve, when its almost entirely broken.

Dragons are being downed.....Gm events....Hotzones for nubs.....Boosted exp for Casuals....Its not all there is just seems like theres more pvp and thats what im here for.I can careless about Planar loot its boring as fuck.Drop kunark i'd be interested in some pve....but they wanna wait for the population to rebound yet only kunark would do that at this point.Yes ONLY KUNARK will do that.Solb and Perma poopsocking the only two dragons in the game IS BORING.....so are hate/fear raids.Ive been there and done that way before this box and im not impressed with old world content.Again i had/have np lvling a char on this server.....rl pals that i enjoy playing with do.I dont think the 50s that dont log on have a prob with exping either.There is an added mystery to the server since theres a dev online asking for input vs a gm online harassing players.

buddy boy you are uninformed. Sure it has bugs. But so did R99 God rest its soul. Difference being, lovley exploits to 50 on r99 rest of us clean whistles are left in our 20s..... people exploit on LoZ? sweet man see you in a few days and we can all pvp for dragons and soon we will have kunark.
