Spell Prices too damn high!

Levitate is 16 for enchanters, not 24 like you mentioned. Is 4p and change what level 16 caster spells cost? Its possible they may be cheaper than wis caster spells since they have to buy them every 4 levels instead of 5 <29.

It is odd that invigor would cost less if a cleric gets it at 9 compared to a 9 druid spell...can't explain that one, but just because people add additional info to your thread, don't go off on them...there could be many other low level people reading this hoping to see additional info like what people chipped in.

Sorry your original question wasnt answered with absolution..with this being an old game and the wiki only having so much info, sometimes things aren't crystal clear. Good luck and enjoy everything p99 has to offer.

I went through the same thing. I didn't have the money to buy spells. As a wizard I picked my damage spells and if I got gate or root those were essential. The rest were picked up at a later time when I had more pp.

As the guy above mentioned skeles wonder around with cracked staves farm those, get about 6 or 7 to sell and you got all the spells you need. It's rough starting out. Believe me I know first hand from not too long ago. Just have to make good decisions and get the spells that are the most bang for your buck.

Once you are level 5 or 6 you can go into CB and farm belts. Usually someone there willing to buy them if you auction them on a regular basis. I sold probably 50-100 of them leveling up in CB. And they are bad exp after level 8 anyhow.

If you are in Greater Fay you can do the mail run quest from Felwith to Kelethin. Decent coin and will get you from level 1 to 3. But also kill every skeleton/humanoid you can find that has a weapon in their hand and sell those rusty daggars!!!!

save all your junk and sell it. you will make enough to buy your spells
