Seriously though, kids, you're going to find the contrarian routine will serve you less and less when you grow up. In everything, you end up swallowing a lot of bad for a pinch of good. If something like Kony 2012 can make some Facebook camwhore quit gazing into her navel long enough to conceptualize Africa, then kudos to the internet.

And why should someone be required to identify Uganda on a map to express concern for the people there? Do you think most Ugandans can identify their nation on a map? Does their ignorance make it more or less tragic when kids who in this nation would primarily be concerned with their Pokemans and cell phones instead spend their days practicing machete amputations? Or does it just make it more comical?

You know, those Africans basically just have one outfit they wear till they die or can kill someone with something better. Can you imagine? Pink shorts, sandals made from old tires, Newport T-shirt; forever. Every day, a little browner. What's up with that? Do some laundry, bloods.
