The slow grind was justified back when EQ was still new, strange, and or mysterious.

Being that most of you know the mechanics, complex formulas, spawn times, loot tables, ect ect, it's the equivalent of wining, dining and using all your smooth player moves on a girl youve been banging everyday for 12 years.

Harrison's reason for keeping xp the way it is: butt hurt about not making it past lvl 10, couldn't handle the PvP even in Gfay. Wants to kill server. No, really he does.

Most lvl 50's reason: sense of elitism, "I can do it why can't you", don't want other people to catch up

My reason as a 50: I'd like to think I have a general sense from reading the boards and talking to a lot of people that I know what the fuck is going on.

The reason of many who have quit: Same reason as one just listed and that is... soloing SLOWLY to 50 isn't what people came to a PvP server to do.

It was fine when everyone was starting, there were other players around. I enjoyed the low level PvP. I even told other people at the time to stfu about the xp. But now, it is a ghost town. Bump the xp up at least for the first 24 levels for Christ's sake. What we need is other GROUPS to start characters here and right now they just roll their eyes thinking about it. More guilds like Velocity need to pop up to plug the holes on the sinking ship.

Lastly, if you want to play "a melee" make a necro, enchanter or mage. Stop crying about starting a rogue and then "realizing" you can't solo. No shit.
