id love to help beta test but i cant invest as much time as id like into leveling a character that will be wiped. I have to save that for launch.

Sad thing is no suggestions will be taken serious because the wipe team just rides eachothers nuts in every thread.

I don't care either way but seriously if the pop is going down like someone posted then maybe you should take Boxcars's suggestion in to account. I mean why not allow everyone a certain level per week (20, 30, 40, 50) and let um battle it out. Don't even allow exping off mobs just loot to farm to entice PvP. If you want to test PvP mechanics then that is the best way to do it.

all i know is that this is based off of p99. p99 has been tested and the pve works correctly, correct? what needs to be tested here is the pvp portion of this server...will finish when i wake up...maybe

Uhm. But Rogean said he'd maybe add an NPC to bump levels if he thought the server needed it. I think the devs generally know what sort of information they need, and if they're not getting it then they will powerlevel you.

Look at the pvp bug forum. They already have a LOT of improvements to make; I imagine they're spending time doing that atm, not worrying about not having enough information from beta testers.

That'll let people test whatever the hell they want rather than require grinding and gearing up on a fucking beta server or having a character and appropriate gear waiting on blue99 for when they enable transfers. The non-PvP zone will let people power-test resists in an environment where they won't get ganked every 30 seconds. That'll give actual feedback and numbers worth looking at. If people want to test quests and drop rates (dunno why, they're all working since p99 has had two years to fine-tune this) they can freely do so. All that's happening right now is 50% of the server is poopsocking to get to 50 the fastest without testing a fucking thing, and 50% of the server is stuck in a gfay griefing moshpit where they can't test a fucking thing.

Beta could take a week or two, but I guess we have to waste our time killing orcs and skeletons to make it take a month or more.
