i find it hilarious that no-life poppsockers in any game mock casuals for not treating a video game like a full-time job, especially so in a game this old.

aren't we all, like, over 35? is it so incomprehensible to somebody that sometimes we got shit to do? holy moly, play as much or as little as you like, but don't tell on yourself. it gives me second-hand embarassment.

like these people actually show up and act like im really inconveniencing because they need my camp so bad

im not asking for special treatment, nor do i want it, but when these people act like they need the crap more than me it's just like uh??

gtfo here man
To be fair, you might have more plat if you hadn't deleted your characters and posted a video of you doing so. All because you went on some staff/server bashing rant and said you were leaving P99 for good.

Yet here you are, back again...pretty sad when people throw fits like that and publicly tell everyone they are leaving (as if anyone cares) and then come crawling back to P99 lol. It's not the guard farmer's fault that you deleted everything from your last run on P99.

I actually heard a Raid Leader once say in comms, regarding a botched FTE and a rant towards the guild members that allowed it to happen,

Raid Leader: "Not acceptable. This is trash. Yada Yada. Some people dedicate 8 hours a day to this job"

Granted, this Raid Leader is a notorious figure on p99 - and despite his E-LEET strats, he is not well-liked by me, or by most casual-leaning players who log in to have some fun, and not be chewed out in comms for 10 minutes after a failed FTE attempt by someone new trying to learn the ropes, or a CH chain breaking down because Cleric #6 decided to pay attention to his small child who needed immediate assistance instead of his GINA triggers in a fucking 17 year old emulated version of a 26 year old video game.

I think the majority of players understand it's just a game - but the vocal minority - the 16 hour a day players who've dedicated almost their entire adult lives to being pros in P99 - are the ones who stick around and continue to propagate the fuckin nonsense we've all had to deal with in this VIDEO GAME.

nobody said you had to raid on a cleric in a critical role when you have a child running around

theres 50+ people there for the kill and if you cant press 1 button in a timely fashion til a dragon dies you dont deserve to be there

id have raid banned you

yeah agreed if you have kids you shouldnt even be allowed near a raid. if you arent prepared to sacrifice your relationships and personal well-being for someone else to loot pixels, you should just quit altogther. theres no room on raid rosters for anyone but people who are dedicated to sitting at their PCs ignoring anything outside of Norrath for 8 hours at a time. if you cant answer a batphone at 3am, what good are you, anyway?

wonder how well that would work if implemented. you can only zone into kael if you prove you have no attachments to real life.

You're exaggerating big time.

All I was talking about was during an active engage.

Its the same as going AFK on your guild during any boss kill in any MMO ever.

bro if i get an emergent phone call at work, i can step away and take it.

why the fuck should i be locked in to an encounter, that will happen every 3 or 5 or 7 days from now until Rogaen's had enough, as if it were life or death?

its a video game.
