you are mistakenly relating the proportion of the amount of sleep stories in this thread with the proportion of total occurrences

I just remembered my most retarded EQ moment.

Finished up a 20 or so hour long EQ bender (I was 14, it was summer time, I needed the platinum) and talking on the phone with my friend, I logged off of my 43 Dark Elf warrior and for some reason, deleted her at the character select screen.

I paused, then laughed.

A GM was able to restore it right away, with minimal (no) loss.

I sold it all back to buy non-perishable water too. Set me back like a plat (cracked staff wuwu) at lvl 3. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

About 6 months into playing EQ back in early 2000, I remember having some noobie begging people in the zone for money. (something i despise) When he approached our group, one of my friends told him about the "Beg" command and how he can use it to get money from NPCs

So our new friend the level 5 dark elf necromancer decided to try his newly learned skill on Sargent Slate.... The screenshot that ensued was quite entertaining ... [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

On live, I would tell beggars to target me and then enable donation mode with /d. Another favorite was to go invis, drop a plat on the ground by newbie lift (back when you could do that) and sit on it and watch the newbies swarm trying to get to it.

You could talk about that time you wiped multiple times at lasna camp as a level 50 mage. Seems like a decent starting point.

Getting drunk in kelethin and falling off loseing my corpse and re-rolling.
Getting drunk IRL in an anguish raid and manageing to wipe the whole raid.
Paying a guy 10k to help me with my epic 1.5 fight doing the turn in then going to an anguish raid that night and winning an upgrade.
Getting a dwarf cleric to level 7 go to EC die give up on finding my corpse and re-rolling.
Falling for the "/exp gives you x2 xp for an hour" trick
