Does AFKing on forums count? Should you also have to be present at your computer for talking on forums, and responding real time? And once you leave a forum for even a quick afk, you are locked out.

Who said anything about being locked out?

Forums have anti-idle measures, you have to log back in if you are inactive for too long.

Nobody said anything about quick AFK. Going for a brief AFK to grab a snack or have a stretch or whatever is reasonable. Laying on the floor for months in Rivervale is not reasonable neither is a bot collecting auction data neither is going AFK in a camp all night and all day.

i think maybe we are so upset about all of the real things going on in the world that we're actively sabotaging our escapism with petty and trivial bs.

been playing classic hc wow lately and i wanna gouge my eyes out anytime i glance at trade chat bc 24/7 its an argument about what to call the deadmines dungeon. completely and utter madness.
