Litigation is also another element of job security for my field of mental health

So if someone does something to someone, and the other person plans to sue them, they will probably go to therapy for the incident whether they really needed to or not. That way they can have receipts for a value which will then come up in the civil case

And even not going could actually hurt their case, where the other lawyer could argue “if this distressed you so much, why didn’t you have it treated?”

A thought experiment. May as well ask me how I would create the Federation, as likely as that scenario is.

Presumably, a nation in this position has a wildly different history and political climate than the actual America we live in.

Dunno how I'd react, I'm opposed to the death penalty as a general rule. I'd likely be a different person, as I'd have been raised in different conditions.
