All evil skills are just degraded versions of good skills. You can't do evil to people at high levels without understanding them, and not just in a macro way "humans do this" but as individuals. This same skill can be used to help people.

It's why Facebook is the most evil company that has ever existed, since it has such a robust database that it has the ability to manipulate populations, and instead of manipulating people for the purpose of -any- specific good, they simply do it for the benefit of extra $. Quite despicable and sad.

But dark empathy sounds way too cool and that picture is too cool.

Let's just call it by it's traditional name, Depravity.

Are paladins intrinsically gooder than clerics? I believe so!

would be cool if like paldin epic was a mace with like terible DPS but masive mana and a proc group heal over time to make them essentially a group cleric.

Would be neat if a necro could like take a paladins life and give it to others and paladin just keeps being replenished. Could do that on pvp. Would be a fun meta to build a game around. As like one if a few different competitive end game grp/raid builds.

I was just thinking of a way they could subsodize the healing power of a cleric, without giving them a new heal spell, if they were constantly healing the group, maybe that would make up for targeted heals by a cleric, somehow try to balance them so it feels about the same during normal play, while not changing the way the paladin class plays "melee tank!"

Red 2.0 rule set, aka: Everybody is the hero in their story.

All race / deity combos are kept.

All class buttons at char select are replaced by paladin (but they keep the faction mod and maybe equipment options of the class it would have been).

Guild trainers, spell vendors and equipment merchants are replaced with paladin equivalents.

Everyone is out there trying to assert their ‘one true philosophy’ while smiting heathens.

Sounds good. Would roll Ogre though, every time.

I dunno if paladins are inherently more good than Clerics, but it seems like it because of their suicidal commitment to action.

For PVP they can do battle more battley than clerics can. I had hoped I could be more of a battle cleric on Gustoo, but you just get no melee ability worth mentioning so it becomes a waste of energy pretty quick.
