I should say religion not the Bible. The Bible does have some good lessons. And in some ways it's very outdated (as a 2,000 year old text would be)

Christ didn't like religion either. That much is very clear within the Bible, with no secondary or tertiary sources necessary. Most Christians wouldn't consider me Christian, but I am, arguably far more than they who would say I am not while also being far more educated in their "religion" than they are. Hope this helps.

As a note aside, the garden is developing nicely. Please don't light the entire west coast on fire in protest again this year. Totally ruined the harvest last year.
