Maybe its different for other places but it has always been an escape of sorts. It wasn't 'real' until the iPhone, what I mean is, when everybody had a smart device in their hands and were on a social media platform. Then the Internet became 'real'.



Cyber bullying is a thing now. I try not to outright laugh and trash people to pieces when it's mentioned, the concept is just so foreign and laughable to me. However when that began translating over into real life, real work, then I couldn't just laugh at it anymore. Now this shit is real. That is fucked up.

This is partially why I blame Steve Jobs, I know it wasn't just him or Samsung or Mark Zuckerberg but they were all the big contributors that come to my mind as the cause of this.

Steve has the interview where he first mentioned the "post-PC" period was coming, some said "It is inevitable" and "If it wasn't him it would have been someone else." This is also what forum posters said about STEAM. But anyway..

Explaining the mechanics of how Hitler came to power and warning against how repeating the same mistakes opens the door for similar results does not equal glorifying. It's simply stating that creating like environments can result in like reactions. If you don't agree then you're gonna need to tone down your "insurrection" rhetoric, because they were just playing when they stormed the capitol because it can't happen by that logic
