Greetings, Detective Knuckle Holmes here. What we have is a rare case of identity troll theft. A harmless enough game, in fact, I'm quite flattered when people take time out of their day to try and tarnish my immaculate reputation with such barbarism.
Let's weigh the evidence against me first, shall we? A new poster appears with the name Estrang, posting how 'Knuckle' is stealing his name. There is an immediate connection between the name Estrang and Knuckle. Some back history for those of us not from VZTZ. My first character on VZTZ was a Barbarian Shaman named Estrang, I use Estrang87 as my AIM which I linked into my VZTZ account My VZTZ forum account name is Estrang. I linked Estrang87 as my AIM on my forum account here. So, Tralina takes out a junior detective kit and links Estrang87 as a screen name between my account Knuckle, and troll imposter account Estrang. Now, let's weigh the evidence against imposter. Anyone could easily use my AIM as their contact info http://emu.pwned.com/member.php?425-Estrang . I've been registered on VZTZ forums for 4 years, with roughly 5k posts, and my AIM blatantly sitting within click reach on every post, not exactly ninja info to acquire. Player makes a username blatantly referencing one of my VZTZ toons, obviously a player that once played there. Player makes many posts 'contradicting' my normal posting habits, such as saying his favorite 12 pack is b&j wine coolers(guilty as charged, obviously). A former VZTZ player contacts me on aim, saying he has suspicions that it's JayDee based on posting patterns and time online, (ie both accounts were logged in at similar times). A few quick ims to my pals yields an identical IP trace to the account username JayDee and Estrang on p99 forums. Conclusion: JayDee is Estrang forum name on p99. If a GM wants to confirm the email that username Estrang signed up with on p99 it may seal the deal. Have a nice day. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
