P.S. The one thing that gives me hope I'm wrong is the staff's policy on "player agreements". While they've never officially clarified that player lists = agreements, they certainly seem like one to me. And we do have a staff quote saying you must follow player agreements ... when they involve rolling:

A guild was allowed to monopolize the hierophant camp here on green for over a month, and now another guild has taken it over (not sure if they are monopolizing as I haven't been down there). This was in full view of the GMs (complained about in UN) and they did nothing about it.

I think you are half right. You are 100% correct that the google doc basically has no authority ... but if you follow that logic then "Whoever is at the camp when the camp holder gets their ring gets next period." doesn't naturally follow. If you check out https://wiki.project1999.com/Rulings#Camp_Waiting_Lists, you'll see that way back in 2014 GM Derubael clarified P99's list policy. I've added emphasis to three key sentences in his quote:



Thus, as I understand it, there is currently no obligation on any player to hand the camp to the next person on the list. The only obligation is that whoever they pick to get the camp next must be there, and they can't lie about who is next.

So, personally I would LOVE it if the staff came out and said "if you got a camp by waiting on a list, and there are still others on that list, you are obligated to A) maintain that list, B) keep its established rules, and C) pass the camp to the next person on that list". I'd love it even more if they said "if someone is waiting for a camp, you must create a list and add the person waiting as the first person on it (even if you want to give the camp to a friend/guildmate)" ...

... but unfortunately P99 history, GM quotes, etc. seems to instead suggest that you can wait on AC list, get the camp, and then hand it over to whoever you feel like (eg. a guild friend) after ... as long as they are there on time, and you don't lie and promise the camp to someone else.

The citation from the wiki you quote is defunct. I cited the same when I was in the only camp dispute I've ever petitioned (over a Giant Fire Beetle Leg no less). Per Menden:

Local's CSR evidence looks pretty clear. Server approved PnP are the rules of the land.

This means it is every p99ers duty to ignore any Kingdom list. Complain about it directly to Kingdom leadership. CSR does not care about Kingdom lists. Neither should you.

Follow PnP and you will be fine.

That strategy definitely worked well in this instance.

The whole server made this list work and made the camp more manageable for all.

On the other hand there is selfish people like you who corpse rings and wipe lists.

People do not hate you, they just do not care about you and do not want to interact with you, and if CI leadership had any integrity they would get rid of you.

It's mostly idiots and seal team who complains about it, go figure, guys are toxic af
