I was against flu shots all my life as well, and after having the flu for 3 weeks i will get one every year. I dont want to be one of those stubborn fools that has to learn by experiencing something the hard way but in this instance i was. The flu is horrible beyond what you can imagine and the shot is safe and free, get it trust me.

If the government tries to make the vaccine mandatory, that is going to be a problem.

Your safety level is based on genetics, if you have not gotten sick yet you are genetically strong to that particular strain and you may not need it. I dont believe anyone in the US has not been exposed to covid yet, its everyplace.

I kinda don't really care either way... I'll take it for 2 reasons-

1- If my country asks me to take it for the greater good of the country, then yeah ill take it. It's too exhausting to live life thinking conspiracy every 2 seconds... If i end up having nano technology weaved across my brain like a spider web, then so be it...

2- If enough people i'm comfortable with or around all approve or suggest taking it, then that's all i need to know. Lemme get that then.

Best evidence says your risk of experiencing harmful side effects from this vaccine is orders of magnitude lower than suffering potentially deadly complications or long-term damage from covid. You have no idea whether your immune system is fine because it's not as straightforward as the "strength" of your immune system. It's purely genetic roulette. Many covid deaths are due to exaggerated immune response, not lack of a strong enough immune response.

Additionally, it's not just about you. Widespread vaccinations protect those in society who are most vulnerable by decreasing aggregate rates of infection. No, not just fatties and smokers, but people with genetic disorders and innocent 80 y/o grannies who never did anything except get old. You may be fine, and in fact be completely asymptomatic, which means you're going to walk around spreading it to everyone else, including granny who is just trying to go to the store to get food.

Of course I never expected selfish, misinformed traitors like you to make the right decision on this. You've been on the wrong side of this the whole way through and it's not gonna stop til covid makes its rounds through this entire retarded country.

We had this discussion yesterday at home. The majority of us would prefer to wait a while and see the potential side-effects - these vaccines are clearly being rushed into market in a number of countries and there has been quite a small test-pool size, relatively speaking.

People are so quick to throw the "anti-vaxxer tin foil hat" label on others whom are sceptical of the current vaccine offerings, but there are numerous examples of Pharmaceutical companies rushing vaccines and other treatments to market and having disastrous side-effects (certain Polio and HPV vaccines immediately come to mind). The firm which I up until very recently worked for here in Ireland represent GSK, which are STILL the subject of lawsuits over the Thalidomide disaster.

It really comes down to how the potential side-effects of the vaccine weigh against the symptoms of the coronavirus. I wish all of you whom are so sure of this remedy the best of luck.
