Here is two indisputable facts from your post; you saw his corpse, he came back and said he died. Everquest is a big place, and instead of taking him at his word and discussing options, you tried to snake your way around these two points so you could take the camp. I don't care if P99 says you're in the right, it's not about that. Maybe everything you said was 100% true, but there is insufficient evidence. It's your word against his; you're an asshole for starting an argument and taking the camp, and he's an asshole for deciding to killsteal in an attempt to take it back. Instead of coming to an arrangement that both of you could profit from, both of you would rather screw each other over and play victim so you can get what's "yours". P99 in a nutshell.

A major component of this issue is that the rules state you lose the camp even if you die. This is problematic, because it's a recipe for instigating arguments like this one. Everyone has been in a similar situation before, as it's one that could easily apply to the real world, too (minus fantasy death, pedants). Rules don't forgive selfish behavior, and that, generally speaking, reasonable people would either offer it (whatever "it" is) back up as a courtesy, or come to an agreement in another way, but because this is the internet, you're free to be a cunt all day as long as you aren't doing anything serious.

Neither of you are innocent, and therefore neither of you deserve any pity. He's actually in a better position than you, though, because he didn't come to a troll forum to cry about it looking for justification for his own shitpoor actions and attitude.

I'll help you off your long-winded bullshit. He is the only one who laid claim to anything. I was in an empty zone killing things with 0 intention of being there all day. I had just looted a Peg Cloak and stopped in for the hell of it to see how it looked soloing the entrance mobs at level 37 on my monk. He makes no mention of any of his intentions or losses until after he watches me split/ kill the zone up to the first doors (~20 minutes). For all I know he died last night and left his corpse there out of rage at being so fucking bad he died on a Necro fighting warrior mobs that are green/blue.

He didn't say, "hey I died can I get my camp back". He said, "this is mine" while also lying about dying at first. He isn't entitled to anything. Once he KSed me I logged off. He brought up petitioning, so I did it for him. I posted here for entertainment, I do not give a fuck what you think of my elf or need anyone to agree with me.

What sort of loser supports Brippin's behavior? Do you just get walked all over all day? I own a business, if I was a huge coward like is suggested here I would be broke AF.

I met Brippin a couple days ago in NK.
I saw all the guards and no one around near SK bridge so i figured id take the camp. After killing them 2 rounds and waiting on the 3rd round to pop Brippin shows up and immediatly engages 1 of them.
