You get some sort of visible warning for missing AFK checks?

You dont get any warning besides the fact the AFK check box is still on your screen.

Get rid of it or risk a second one appearing which removes you from the list.

Correct.

Bc the instance a second box would appear (with a first box still remaining) you are removed from list thusly no box would even need to be there physically bc you are not on any lists that the boxes function with.

But of course, that is just what I would say to cover up my nefarious and complex plan with Asteria, whoever she/he is.
