Standing in line is 100% classic, on rallos zek they stood inline for the jbbots, took me 25 hours, was the best time of my life.

There was never any rules about standing in line to get a kill on anything.
Just like there was never any mob limits or pbae limits.
Or lists, or any of the these weirdo follow the white line to the next exp distribution point rules.

in addition to timezones, people also struggle with the fact that rather than there being one uniform classic everquest experience, different servers had different populations and qualities, and were very different in important ways

So much this! I’m reading some of these posts and scratching my head, because I played EQ the year it came out my entire summer vacation. I remember there being rules that were player and guild enforced about stealing camps, ninja looting, training, etc. Maybe some of you played on servers that were full of a-holes, but on E’ci the experience was much more “play nice.”

I wouldn't mind if they let the role-playing people do their things on teal.Don't see any downside to that.
