There were similar amounts of players on live servers as p99 but there wasnt 90% lvl 60s like we have here that’s the truly un-classic part.

25-50 players is certainly even less classic though by any standard. . .

I honestly don't think so. I've got a very near bis character on red from a few back, and a bunch of alts better geared than the majority of mains on blue. I don't see the point in re-questing on a congested server with no conflict resolution outside of a strongly worded and mildly threatening tell. Trying to stockpile manastones against the worst blue has to offer was tempting though.
