Alright now that I have a little more time....

So I was in EC trying to buy some gear for a friend of mine. I see one of the 55hp rings for sale and ask how much he wants for it and he tells me 250pp (lol) So i tell him theres no way I can pay that much for it. About 15 seconds later he sticks the ring in the trade window and he hits trade so I accept the ring kinda going wtf...

So I figure hes giving it to me and I say "That works too, Thank you!" I still get no response. I check out a few more auction and content with the generosity of a fellow player and my spoils for the day log off for a little while to run to QT and the Pita Jungle.

I log back in about an hour later to see EC is all up in arms and this guy is accusing me of stealing his ring. I'm more than a little pissed off because all the guy had to do was ask me for his ring back rather than be a jerk about it and trash my name.

Believe me or not, I really don't care. I know I'm the one thats being truthful. I don't know exactly what he was telling people, because his story changed so many times. I'm sure it was something along the lines off me convincing him I'm going to pay for it on an alt or something and he was just a poor manipulated schmuck. Well the truth is hes an idiot who gave me the ring without saying a thing or telling me that he wasn't just giving it to me and that he wanted to be payed for it. I guess I'm just used to generosity of others, shit I've been given like 3k in items since I started playing over a month ago from nice people who just hooked me up when I asked to buy something and didn't have enough money to buy it.

So to the guy who is accusing me of manipulating him and stealing his beloved little ring - put down the Mountain Dew, take your medication, and stop being such a little punk when you act a fool, and try telling the truth for once and acting like an adult.

I thought GMs had a "Don't give a shit" policy on people being scammed.
I think I remember them saying something along the lines of "It is their own stupid fault".

I'm pretty sure what they meant is that it's their prerogative whether or not they want to get involved or deem it necessary. Either way, it's still cool of them, even for such a small item. Obviously Haddict, if that was how it went down then they wouldn't taken their time to give me a ring back, they do have logs.

Besides, I told you up front how much it was, and that I only had one...so, you know, fuck off. You tried to make easy money, no one can blame you. You have a drug habit to support. Just try to score bigger next time.
