I remember the glory days of DAOC - Roleplay servers, oh my god. So much fun. Even when you weren't roleplaying people were generally more patient, kind, giving, and this created such a great environment. It also helps that it is realm vs realm, which already kindles that environment.

I only roleplay for sexual gratification. So when someone randomly RPs me it's always super awkward, whether it's with that intent or not. RP can be a lot of fun but it also takes as much time to do well as EQ can take up.

People RPed a little more on live. Definitely a lot more of the lighthearted RP back then. I asked for a P99 RP/story forum but ya that never materialized. There's probably only a handful of us who would post there anyways.

Yea collab stuff with multiple authors would be a lot of fun. Or just more casual stuff, kind of a different dynamic than stories

RnF isn't really ideal as a story writer either, no edit option really sucks. Though that has made me improve my editing skills

I would be totally on board with a shared collaboration story, only so we can all laugh at how derailed it gets after the third or fourth person and devolves into dick humor.
